I started this site on March 26, 2014.
I’ve wanted my very own website for a long time. A place where I could talk about things I like, things I hate and just things in general. A place to put up a few photos, my DIY attempts and anything else I find worthy of my own little place on the net.

Hello! I was browsing around the Internet and came across your website and I was wondering…where did you get the name Ithlia? I have been using that as a pseudonym on the Internet for seven years (a name that I actually made up about ten years ago for a character and decided to use as an alias starting in 2007) and it has been my costuming alias since about 2005.

Hi. I’ve been aware of you for a couple of years now because I Google Ithlia once in awhile and you pop up a lot. It is nice to actually say hello. I’ve been using Ithlia, Ithlia Highwood, as my online name since 1997. It was a name I used in an online text game called DragonRealms. I was in the process of trying to name my character and couldn’t find a name that wasn’t taken. The character creation had a system that would spit out three computer generated names every time you tried a name that was unavailable. It eventually spit out Ithlyian. I made up Ithlia from that. It is amazing that we came up with the same name.

Haha you popped up when I Googled it as well! I used to do roleplays and I was trying to come up with a name and after typing a few out…Ithlia just stuck. Coming up with names can be pretty difficult, but I guess in this case great minds think alike!
